Purpose:
The primary purposes of the Botetourt County Schools Gifted Advisory Committee are to:
- annually review Botetourt County Public Schools’ Local Plan for the Education of the Gifted and monitor the extent of implementation,
- submit an annual report to the Superintendent that contains findings of program effectiveness and recommendations,
- evaluate division-wide needs and submit program revision recommendations to the Superintendent, and
- interpret to the community the division’s plan for meeting the needs of students participating in the gifted education program.
