Residency Requirements

School board policy requires families to enroll their child at the school in their attendance zone. To find the school your child should attend, select the Find Your Zoned School button below, enter a grade level (optional) and your address, and select Search. When the grade level is set to Any, the elementary and secondary schools for your attendance zone will display.

If you receive a No Schools Found message, your address is not located in Botetourt County. You still have the option of submitting an application to be enrolled as a non-resident student.

Non-Resident Enrollment Options:

Families who live outside of Botetourt County may submit an application to attend Botetourt County Public Schools. The central office reviews all applications and makes the final determination– application does not guarantee or imply admittance.
