How to Enroll Your Child

Enrolling early ensures your child has the necessary resources for a smooth start to the school year, and provides the school division adequate time to arrange staff and resources to support students. Each of the following steps must be completed for a child to be able to start school:

  1. Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 30.
  2. Verify you meet residency requirements.
  3. Find your zoned school. You must enroll at the school as stated on the attendance zone locator.
  4. Gather the required documents.
  5. Complete the following enrollment form.

  6. Visit your school to complete in-person verification of documents. Reach out to the school's enrollment contact to schedule an appointment, and bring all required documents to complete the enrollment process.
