RFP #1: Service Requirements
Botetourt County Public Schools (BCPS) is seeking proposals for Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Wide Area Network (WAN) Data Transport services. Offerors must submit proposals for both DIA and WAN services. Failure to offer both services will result in the proposal being disqualified. The two services will be evaluated together, and one vendor will be selected to provide both services. All required locations must be included in the proposal – partial offerings WILL NOT be considered.
RFP #2: Equipment / Service Request
BCPS requests proposals for the purchase of new E-Rate eligible Category Two switches and
uninterruptable power supplies. Installation of the equipment is not requested on this RFP. Proposals featuring equipment that is used, open box, refurbished, or categorized in any way other than new will be disqualified.
Proposals are requested for the makes/models specified in the Pricing Attachment (or equivalent). Offers containing alternative makes/models are required to submit product specifications and documentation to establish that the equipment is equivalent to the requested solution. BCPS will be the arbiter of whether the proposed solution is functionally and technically equivalent to the requested solution.
The quantities requested are BCPS’s best estimate and may be adjusted based on the offeror’s recommendations. BCPS reserves the right to increase or reduce quantities and buy some, all, or none of the listed equipment.
Partial bids will not be considered.
