New Superintendent Appointed ~ June 3, 202506/03/2025
In this morning’s special meeting, the Botetourt County School Board appointed Dr. Janet Womack as the next Superintendent of Botetourt County Public Schools. A graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, Dr. Womack began her career in public education there as a mathematics teacher. She has since served as an assistant principal, principal, and currently holds the position of Assistant Superintendent in Botetourt County Public Schools. She will assume her new responsibilities effective July 1, 2025. Congratulations, and best of luck in your new role, Dr. Womack!
