Pizza, fruit, snacks and a beautiful cake were on the truck. Sheila Proffit, AD at JRHS, served as MC. local dignitaries Tom Middlecamp, Mayor of Buchanan, Terry Austin Supervisor for Buchanan and Jack Leffel Supervisor for Fincaslte made congratulatory remarks. Principal Jamie Talbott and the coaching staff of the track team made remarks on the season and drive possessed by the team. School Superintendent Dr. Tony Brads smiled from the gallery of well wishers. The State 1 A track Championship marked the 7th state title in JRHS sports since 2003.
