Botetourt County Public Schools is pleased to offer FREE GED preparation classes.  If you, or an individual you know, would like to earn a GED credential, increase earning potential, and/or enroll in a community college, we want to help you reach these goals. 

We have enhanced our program since the start of the 2012-13 school year and now offer distance education.  This allows working adults more flexibility with studying for the test in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

Effective January 2014, the GED test will be changing to a computer-based format with higher level content.  We encourage everyone who has not passed all portions of the current GED test, or would like to try taking the test before the change, to contact us as soon as possible.
